Poor Toadie, he’s really under the cosh right now isn’t he?

All this trouble with his fertility has led to Sonya really pushing him hard, and he’s finding it difficult to take. We all know that Toadie is a good guy – he’s grown up before our very eyes after all – but how much more can he handle?

Lately he has been finding it difficult because he really feels that his very masculinity is being challenged. Toadie’s a young man, and any young man in this situation would find it hard to deal with. Sonya’s tried her best and believes she is doing the right thing, but all she ends up doing is getting under his skin. Does he really want to try more fertility treatments? No, he decides he’s going to prove he’s a real man by getting into some serious DIY!

We’d all like to shout out that it’s not such a good idea as it seems, but – let’s be honest – he is not going to listen! Toadie is just not that sort of gut! It’s easy to forget that this is a sensitive man who has been through a lot, and the way Ryan Moloney is playing this challenging and informative storyline is a real eye-opener.

Of course, Ryan is a veteran now, but still it takes some serious understanding to get to grips with a part that requires a combination of serious playing and occasional humour. Hang on in their Toadie, we love you!
